Market Intelligence: Q3 Florida Update
Florida’s population has grown remarkably in recent years, resulting in solid apartment demand and additional investor interest. However, construction remains the biggest headwind throughout the state, with continued development likely leading to a supply/demand imbalance and exerting additional pressure on the region’s already soft performance metrics. Further deterioration may be avoided if leasing activity surges during prime leasing season.
