Ginny Hightower serves as Vice President of Design Management for Mill Creek Residential’s multifamily portfolio, responsible for leading the national Design Management team and focusing on efficiency, cross-regional collaboration and best practices. She also remains actively engaged in the Texas and Mountain States regions, managing all aspects of Interior Design from concept design through the completion of construction. Her additional responsibilities include input on community and apartment home amenity programming, leading the selection of interior design consultants, and interfacing with onsite construction teams as well as Operations and Marketing department members for lease-up strategy.
Prior to joining Mill Creek, she launched and operated her own practice focused on single-family residential and hospitality design. As a sole practitioner, she designed hotels across the U.S. for hospitality groups such as Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Prior to starting her company, she worked for Rottet Studio, a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm where she designed and managed the installations of the flagship Pendry Hotel in San Diego, California, and the two Four Seasons Hotels in Bogotá, Colombia.
Ginny holds an Associate of the Arts – Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, as well as a Bachelor of Arts – American Studies & Spanish from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is a cofounder of the Silver Lake Community Church Food Pantry in Los Angeles, Management Committee member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and youth group leader for high school students at her church in Houston.
Julie Reed
Sr. Vice President - National Training, Mill Creek Residential TrustAs the Senior Vice President of National Training for Mill Creek Residential, Julie Reed is responsible for the organization’s national training curriculum, associate career path development and Learning Management Systems. In her previous role as Vice President of Learning and Development for the Property Operations division of the organization, Julie was responsible for the day-to-day software and sales training operations in addition to overseeing internal audits. She is well versed in organizational change management, classroom facilitation and adult learning techniques. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business.
Before joining Mill Creek in 2016, Julie served as Vice President of Learning and Development for Waterton in Chicago. She began her career in the multifamily industry with Archstone, working in various roles from acquisitions and property operations to marketing and training.
Kelly Vickers
Vice President - ESG, Mill Creek Residential TrustAs Vice President of ESG, Kelly Vickers leads Mill Creek Residential’s overall ESG strategy, including developing, collaborating on and managing ESG programs, policies, reporting and disclosures.
Prior to joining Mill Creek, Kelly was an ESG consultant helping multifamily housing developers and management companies develop and implement ESG strategies and programs of their own. Prior to consulting, she served as Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Greystar, as well as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and National Director of Sustainability at Alliance Residential Company. In these roles, she oversaw all aspects of corporate responsibility and sustainability program development and implementation, including annual GRI reporting, regulatory compliance, communications, diversity and inclusion, charitable giving and other philanthropic efforts.
Kelly graduated with honors from Dominican University of California with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master of Business Administration in Sustainable Enterprise. She is an LEED Green Associate, a Fitwel Ambassador and a Green Globes Professional.
Andrew Bowen
Vice President & Industry Principal, RealPage, Inc.Andrew Bowen serves RealPage customers and partners as a Vice President and Industry Principal dedicated to the Institutional and Build-to-Rent spaces. For over a decade, his focus has been on the tools that help investors and operators of multifamily real estate drive yield through better leveraging data and analytics.
Considered one of the experts on revenue management in multifamily, he is a regularly featured speaker on both the webcast and conference circuit, bringing a passion backed by over 20 years of operational experience to the conversation.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Biology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. When not pontificating on the future of the industry, you can usually find him either in the gym or on the lake with his two grown “boys” and his wife of 25 years.
