(October 31, 2001) — RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of property management products and services to the multifamily industry, today announced the availability of OneSite™ Leasing & Rents, the fifth product center to be released from the company’s OneSite web-based property management system.
OneSite Leasing & Rents provides property managers with a centralized, standardized way to monitor, analyze and influence activity at all sites. It automates the entire process of leasing and renting apartments—all the way from electronic guest card to final move-out—and provides accurate, up-to-the-minute updates
across all sites. With it, property managers have instant access to information that helps improve decision-making on rents, concessions, expenses, marketing and a myriad of issues that directly affect a property’s bottom line.
“OneSite Leasing & Rents is the heart of our property management system,” said Steve Winn, chief executive officer of RealPage. “It has the features and functionality of our popular Rent Roll product, plus much, much more.”
Those features include the ability to customize OneSite Leasing & Rents to fit the needs of the property management company. Site personnel can select the templates, pick lists, and control settings that can help them better manage the properties.
OneSite Leasing & Rents also helps optimize rents by closely monitoring exposure by floor plan type and adjusting rental rates anytime, based on market conditions, for current reporting. The advanced functionality of the system also ensures that the leasing renewal process is managed proactively, and that application fees and deposits are posted automatically for immediate credit. It also speeds up rent and late fee payments.
“OneSite Leasing & Rents has a monitoring system for improving collections and reducing bad debt,” said Winn. “Residents late in remitting their payments automatically receive reminders through courtesy letters that can be tailored for each property site.”
OneSite Leasing & Rents also enforces company policies and offers safeguards designed to keep income-generating fees from being waived or overridden.
Customers can subscribe to OneSite Leasing & Rents as a standalone product center or as part of the OneSite integrated solution. It integrates with OneSite Property to capture guest card information and pre-populate a prospect’s screening application. Used with OneSite Facilities, it notifies property managers when
make-readies and move-out inspections are needed. It can be used in conjunction with OneSite Portfolio Access, an executive and analyst tool that offers full portfolio reporting and analytical views on investment returns, and OneSite Site Data Exchange, which extracts data automatically into import-ready formats for business software
systems.
OneSite Leasing & Rents is one of nine product centers from OneSite. It joins OneSite Tenant Screening, OneSite Property, OneSite Facilities and OneSite Learning Management System in general availability. The other four product centers—OneSite Compliance, OneSite Purchasing, OneSite Revenue Management and OneSite Budgeting—will be released in the coming months. Together, the nine product centers form a comprehensive suite of e-business, browser-based tools that fully automate important property management functions.
More than 20,000 apartment communities across the United States use RealPage’s products and services, which are designed to improve the performance of the asset.
