RealPage Unveils Revolutionary New Web-Based Property Management System at Multi-Housing World Annual Convention

(March 17, 2000) — RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of property management software and services to the multihousing industry, today unveiled OneSite™ , its new web-based property management system for the apartment industry, at the Multi-Housing World’s annual convention in Las Vegas.

OneSite is the first complete business-to-business Internet application for the apartment industry that connects multiple property stakeholders, including on-site staff, portfolio managers and owners. It allows authorized users to collaborate on real-time solutions to optimize property performance.

“OneSite redefines most internal and external business processes performed by apartment owners and managers to take advantage of the Internet,” said Jim Melson, president of RealPage. “It is an integrated solution that enables shared management of a distributed portfolio of properties as if they were one site.”

In addition to its eBusiness capabilities, OneSite also incorporates distance learning technology that operates over the Internet, offering an eContent catalog of courses for competency development programs for many types of real estate jobs.

Certain features of OneSite are powered by RealPage’s wholly owned subsidiary, M/PF Research, which provides market research intelligence to the apartment industry. Through OneSite, clients will have instantaneous access to M/PF’s market trends and demographics analyses.

OneSite is a suite of nine unique products that each address specific property management business processes. Three of OneSite’s products—OneSite Property, OneSite Leasing and OneSite Learning—were previewed at the Multi-Housing World convention.

OneSite Property is an eCommerce-enabled web site service that allows owners and managers to control the image and branding of each apartment community. It is a powerful online presence, providing valuable marketing information to prospects and a web-based community to serve the multiple needs of residents.

“OneSite Property enables owners and managers to control apartment frontage on the digital highway,” said Melson. “Content in these property-specific web sites can be continually enhanced to attract new residents and optimize ancillary revenue opportunities.”

OneSite Leasing is a tool that automates the leasing process from electronic guest card to applicant screening to execution of final lease contracts. OneSite Learning is a distance learning technology for owners and managers. The three OneSite products will be available this spring.

The six other OneSite products—Rents, Facilities, Compliance, Revenue Management, Market and Accounting & Budgeting—will be released over the course of the next nine months.
