Houston Business Journal (April 17, 2020) -- Houston’s largest multifamily organization donated $100,000 to aid renters who have taken a financial hit as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
The Houston Apartment Association sent the funds to the Alliance of Community Assistance Ministries to seed the launch of the HAA Renter Assistance Fund. HAA has called upon its members, including apartment owners and operators as well as suppliers, to contribute additional funds to the program.
